Technology

Read more here: https://eduardklein.com/podcast-hosting/ but take note of a few things:

  • You can skip the Boom but make sure your mic comes with a stand
  • If you have a Gmail Account you can use Google Hangouts instead of Skype
  • Adobe Audition is no longer free, Audacity is now your best free bet.
  • ID3 is part the part of the Metadate on an MP3 where such things as title and artist is stored.

Food for thought

September 30th  is International Podcast Day. The first one was in 2014 after Steve Lee (founder of Modern Life Network) heard a radio announcement for National Senior Citizens’ Day (8/21, in case you’re itching to know that, too)

From their site:

The celebration is a great opportunity to connect with fellow podcasters, podcast listeners, podcast enthusiasts, and leaders in the podcasting industry. Help spread the word by telling your friends, sharing the celebration on your podcasts and social media feeds, and using #InternationalPodcastDay. There are several ways to get involved and plenty to benefit from by taking part in International Podcast Day. See our suggestions below. But first, we must all “Start The Conversation” and share the power of podcasts!
