Teens! Display Your Art Here!
The Wilmington Memorial Library allows tween and teen artists in grades 6 – 12 to exhibit their work in the Teen Zone’s Moveable Gallery. The guidelines for exhibiting artwork are as follows:
- The space in the Teen Zone allows for approximately 5 – 8 paintings.
- Artists interested in exhibiting their artwork may contact the teen services librarian, or Youth Services staff, who will determine what artwork will be on exhibit.
- Paintings, prints, drawings, or photographs must be suitably framed or wired and be able to hang on the library’s preinstalled art hanging track system.
- Affix the artist’s name and contact information to the back of the paintings.
- Teen artists may not sell artwork through the library.
- The Wilmington Memorial Library is not responsible for damage to any of the artist’s work.
- The length of time artwork will be on exhibit is determined by the teen services librarianbased on the needs of the library.
- Any artwork not claimed after exhibition will be stored as space allows for six months
